In the Chef's Booth 10AM-11AM:

Christian Caiazzo, chef-proprietor at Osteria Stellina and owner of Toby’s Coffee Bar and GBD Grilled Cheese (voted best grilled cheese on the planet by Sunset Magazine) will be demonstrating Bibb lettuce cups, using beautifully fresh produce from Big Mesa Farms and succulent hangar steak from Marin Sun Farms. Christian will be joined by special guest Michael Pollan who will be signing copies of his new book “How to Change Your Mind” in the barn following the demo.

Join us for a hike to the summit of Black Mountain - accompanied by Daniel Dietrich, professional wildlife photographer and owner of Point Reyes Safaris! While conditions on the mountain are not ideal for wildlife spotting, Daniel will be joining us to support the market and share insights on photography and wildlife in the region.

Our hike begins at Black Mountain Ranch, a 1200 acre organic ranch protected by MALT. At the top, hikers are rewarded with endless views and a delicious gourmet snack generously provided by Osteria Stellina.

Please be advised - this is a strenuous hike! Total hiking distance is 6+ miles. Bring layers for all weather conditions, sunscreen, and plenty of water.
